Michael Katsaris, Director, Licensed Estate Agent
Michael’s career in real estate began in the residential sector in 1984. After expanding into commercial property and development work, Michael opened his own company Bellbird Real Estate in Blackburn. In July 2005, Michael and his wife Franca bought Ham Kerr & Company and later when he bought out his partner and became the sole director, changed the name to Ham Kerr Property. Michael has over 24 years experience in real estate and prides himself on his relationships with his clients, always considering their best interest and welfare. A number of the company’s overseas landlords have given Michael power of attorney for all their real estate affairs. In recent years Michael has concentrated on investment sales, property acquisitions and development for individual clients and joint venture arrangements.
David Ham, BCom BEd BA FCPA AREI AIMM
David Ham has 34 years experience in the real estate industry and is regarded as one of the world’s true gentlemen. For part of his career he worked as Coordinator of the Real Estate Licensing Course at RMIT University and has trained some of Melbourne’s top performing estate agents. In 1995 David and his wife Suellen founded Ham Kerr & Company in Balwyn which they ran for 10 years before selling the business to Michael Katsaris. David now heads our Sales Department bringing a wealth of professional knowledge and over twenty years of auctioneering experience to benefit our clients in this marketplace. He has an established reputation in the Balwyn and surrounding areas for his integrity and market knowledge.
Peter Small, CEA (REIV) AAPI Vic DIV
With 35 years as a Licensed Real Estate Agent, Auctioneer and Certified Practising Valuer, Peter Small has an In-depth knowledge of the real estate industry that is second to none. Drawing on a successful background in sales, valuations and real estate education, both interstate and in Melbourne, Peter brings long standing experience and total commitment to every property transaction that he handles.

Franca Katsaris, Office/Property Manager
Franca brings over 15 years Property Management experience to Ham Kerr Property and her extensive knowledge of technology, accounting, systems and procedures has seen her streamline our office’s method of operation. Franca’s attention to detail and her exacting nature make her a valuable resource to the business. She works tirelessly to ensure and maintain quality control and consistency in our professional services. Franca is an interior designer by trade and provides our landlords/vendors with property presentation advice to assist them in preparing their optimum property for sale or lease. Confidence, knowledge and efficiency lend themselves to Franca who regularly builds a strong rapport with her clients.
Marita Frazer, Property Manager
Marita’s experience in the industry spans 19 years, and her dedication to providing outstanding service to clients has resulted in the development of a busy, vibrant Property Management Department at Ham Kerr Property.

Diana De Luca, Accounts Administration
Diana De Luca has worked as a professional Bookkeeper, in various accounting practices and running her own bookkeeping business from home.
Diana brings a wealth of accounting experience to Ham Kerr Property, where we believe that the accounting functions of any business on behalf of clients, directly impacts on the successful management and sale of client's properties.
Diana manages our trust accounting department on a full time basis, including the management of numerous body corporates and assists our Director, Michael Katsaris, with the general administration of our commercial property portfolio.
While most real estate offices expect their Property Managers to also be Trust Accountants, at Ham Kerr Property, we believe that the role of invoicing, disbursing funds, reconciling landlord accounts, correct receipting, banking and other Trust account functions, are best managed by an experienced bookkeeper and Trust Accounts Administrator, as opposed to Property Managers, whose talents are best suited to negotiating the best terms for landlords.
Diana's methodical and consistent approach to her work sees the best outcomes for our clients with respect to the management of Trust monies, received, held and disbursed on their behalf.

Yvonne Yau, Assistant Property Manager
Yvonne has worked in sales for the last 3 years and brings with her a wealth of knowledge and positive attitude to her role here at Ham Kerr Property. Yvonne’s organizational skills, attention to detail, along with her ability to work well under pressure have made her one of our key personnel in assisting the property management department. Yvonne has exceptional experience in dealing with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds as she is fluent in speaking Mandarin and Cantonese. Having completed her Bachelor of Planning & Design at The University of Melbourne, and with other qualifications in AutoCAD and a Certificate in Interior Design, Yvonne has an astute eye for detail, strong analytical skills, is keen to learn and believes in continuous self improvement.
