What to do if you wish to vacate your property
- Your notice to vacate must be no less than 28 days, with the 28th day falling after the expiration of a fixed term lease.
- Your notice to vacate must be in writing. Please email your notice to the Property Management Department at email@example.com.
- The notice is taken from the next business day the notice is received by this office, not the day you send it.
Your Property Manager will confirm receipt of this notice by return email.
Should you not hear from us within 48 hours, please contact us on 03 9830 0990 to ensure your notice has been received.
Under the Residential Tenancy Act 1997, A tenant under a tenancy agreement shall not refuse to pay rent on the grounds that he intends to regard as rent by him the security deposit or any part of the security deposit paid by him in respect of the premises.
Rent is payable up to your vacating date and until the keys are returned to our office.
